OUR STORY

After graduating from St. Mary's University School of Law, Thomas "Chance" Mazurek IV started his career as an oil and gas attorney in 2007 with an emphasis in land title examination. In 2008, he co-founded the law firm now known as Mazurek, Belden & Burke, P.C. with current offices located in San Antonio, Texas and Comanche, Texas. In 2013, he became Board Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Chance has always had an affinity for our state's natural resources and the related legal fields.  He has also always had an affinity for his hometown of Comanche as well as greater Comanche County and the people that live Comanche County.  

In 2016, Chance decided to open a title insurance company in Comanche to serve the title and closing needs for this area. Cima opened in August 2017 with J. Frank Megna filling all of the roles necessary to run a title company including manager, escrow officer/closer, and abstractor. The team has grown to now include abstractor Tammy Turner, escrow officer/closers Amanda Land and Lori Dudley, as well as long-time Comanche escrow officer/closer Michelle Gandy.
